Reflecting on a year of Reduce Your Use: how your actions cut campus energy use
During the Easter break, combined efforts of the campus community and Estates in plant rooms to power down equipment—resulted in a 14% reduction in electricity consumption compared to a typical week. This was one of the most successful energy savings recorded to date during a holiday period, and it shows the scale of impact achievable when everyone takes part.

Update on the Student Building Extension Project
We are pleased to announce that MOLA Architecture has been appointed as the architect for the Student Building Extension Project, in close collaboration with MSU. Funded through the Student Levy, the project will involve a deep retrofit using green technologies, and a large extension, doubling the building's size to support student life on campus.
