These scholarships are open to both students enrolling to commence PhD study in the School of Business at Maynooth University in 2021 and existing PhD students of the School of Business

Maynooth University Business and Law graduate is new Mayor of Kildare
The new Cathaoirleach of Kildare County Council is Cllr. Naoise Ó Cearúil, a graduate of the BBL (Bachelor of Business and Law) (2011) at Maynooth. Naoise graduated in 2011, having served as former President of the student Law Society and President of MU Cuallacht na Gaeilge. He also holds a Diploma in Irish from NUI Maynooth. A native of Maynooth, Naoise has been a councillor for Maynooth Municipal District in Kildare County Council since 2014. His term of office as mayor began June 25 and lasts for a year. We congratulate Naoise and wish him every success in his new role.

The 2021-22 winner of the Susan Hunter the bursary in the MA in Anthropology and Material Culture is Kealan Hilley. The scholarship is worth €2000.
