Maynooth Alumni Chapters

Setting up a Maynooth Alumni Chapter, as we call it, is a great way to create valuable social and business networks for alumni. With visits from today’s University staff and invitations to special events, it also keeps your connection to Maynooth University alive, while meeting new people in your local community or country.

One example came in December 2013, when the Maynooth Alumni China Chapter (established in 2010) gathered in Beijing to hear from the Irish Ambassador to China, resulting in follow-up invitations to embassy events.

As Maynooth alumni expand the global footprint of the University, we’d like to be along for the journey.

France Chapter

If you're a graduate, Erasmus student, have been awarded a TEG qualification or are a researcher living in France, do register with our alumni community so we can ensure you're invited to French chapter events. We've also got a Maynooth University Alumni France Chapter group on LinkedIn that you might like to join so you can connect and engage with other Maynoothians in France.

Sean Ryan (BA Hons, 1989) and Róisín Dockery (BA, 1987) are Maynooth University Alumni Ambassadors in France and look forward to meeting you at chapter events.

Last year (October 2022), we hosted another successful alumni event in Paris at the beautiful Embassy of Ireland, France. It was Maynooth University President, Professor Eeva Leinonen's first official international engagement as President of Maynooth University and she was delighted to see so many alumni and international colleagues in attendance. The event was kindly supported by H.E. Ambassador Burgess and the wonderful Irish Embassy team. For more information and to see photos from the evening, please see below.
