Chemistry Celebrates the Graduation of 11 PhD students
The Department of Chemistry is delighted to congratulate 11 PhD students who recieved their doctorate at the September graduation. It is a great achievment for all of the graduates and the department.

Soft Matter Poster Prize for Department of Chemistry Ph.D. Student
Susan James, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemistry, Maynooth University was awarded the Soft Matter poster prize at the 9th Liquid Matter Conference, held in Lisbon, Portugal on 21-25th July 2014.

Chemistry PhD Student wins Best Presenter Award in Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium.
Congratulations to David Branagan, one of our chemistry PhD Students who won best a 'Best Talk' award in the Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium in NUI Galway on the 20th of June, 2014.

BOC prize was awarded to postgraduate student Pauric McCarron
The BOC award is a €1,500 bursary which is distributed annually to a Post Grad in the Chemistry Department. The award is given to Postgrads who have shown excellence in their research over the previous year.

Summer Undergraduate Chemistry Research Awards (SUCRA), a summer programme for undergraduate chemistry researchers at Maynooth University.
This programme is intended to give undergraduate students a taste of what academic research is like, to expose students to the research undertaken in the Department of Chemistry and to the benefits of postgraduate research study at Maynooth University.
