Maynooth University has a wealth of talent amongst our student body. We offer effective ways to build your profile amongst our students and engage with them during their studies. Read more about our Upskill Programmes below.

  • Micro Internships aim to provide valuable professional experience outside the traditional placement cycle for Maynooth University Students (undergraduate and postgraduate), whilst enabling organisations to quickly access a diverse array of skills and a wide pool of talent on a short-term basis.
  • The Alumni Mentoring Programme pairs students with alumni from across a diverse range of sectors (mentors) who offer informed career insights and can help empower students to achieve their career aims.
  • Project Live: Do you have a current need within your organisation but are unable to resource it? Would your organisation benefit from a partnership that enables you to overcome challenges and provide added value to your organisation? Project Live involves all levels of students and academics working with community or industry organisations as part of a module.
  • Research Live is a partnership between organisations, academic departments and students that involves the co-creation of a piece of research, in response to a need/issue defined by you.

For further information and to express your interest in participating, we invite you to register on our Careers Connect portal. Used by our student body, from first-year undergraduates right up to alumni, Careers Connect offers you the opportunity to advertise your jobs, competitions, insight days and internships directly to MU students and graduates.
