Employer Recruitment Stand Series - suspended due to Covid-19
Having run successfully for many years, employers set up a stand outside the centrally located Careers Service and meet face to face with students.
We have a single company each Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at core times during the Academic year.
We recommend 2 pop up stands, max 3/4 staff (HR & recent graduates). In attracting attention to your stand, treats/”freebies” always work well!!!
Offer Work Placements as part of students academic courses or Summer Internships:
Over 38 MU undergrad and postgrad courses include a built in Placement/internship period where students gain work/professional experience as a requirement of their degree
For less than 3 month internships contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Graduate Career Stories:
Students find it extremely beneficial to hear from former graduates and this creates awareness of your organisation via the homepages of Academic Departments and the Careers Service, yet this resource is currently underused by employers. Using our ‘online Graduate Career Story form’, submit max 4/5 stories from MU Alumni currently on your staff (at different stages of their career and/or in different roles) .
Add your company name, logo and recruitment page to the Employer Listing on the Find a Job section of the Careers Service website
