TUTOR Transnational Meeting
The Department of Adult and Community Education, Maynooth University welcomes its European Partners to the first transnational meeting held in Ireland of the Erasmus Teachers Academies research project TUTOR - Teachers’ upskilling aiming at a holistic inclusivity in learning. Partners from the 11 participating universities, vocational training associations, youth and student networks, social inclusion groups for migrants, refugees and LGBTQI+ from Greece, Turkey, Belgium and Austria attended on the 1st and 2nd February 2023.
The TUTOR project intends to contribute to the improvement of teacher education policies and practices in Europe by creating networks and communities that bring together providers of second level and VET teacher education and providers of continuing professional development, and other relevant actors (such as ministries) and stakeholders to develop a Train the Trainers approach and to define a forward-looking strategy upskilling strategy, focused on inclusivity in learning.
