Recent research project that looks at how consumers can influence and impact on market practices for public goods in Ireland

Dr Gillian Moran recently participated in a workshop with editors from two leading (ABS4) journals in marketing: the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and the Journal of Consumer Research.  Dr Moran’s paper (along with co-author Dr Nicola Mountford, School of Business, Maynooth University) was one of only 25 papers chosen internationally for consideration at this inaugural workshop for researchers in marketing.  The paper, titled ‘The Media and the Masses: Discursive Legitimation and Legitimacy Diffusion in Advancing Consumer Movements’ forms part of a wider research project that looks at how consumers can influence and impact on market practices for public goods in Ireland.
