On Saturday 13th February, Dr Fergus Ryan of Maynooth University Department of Law participated as one of five legal academics advising the Citizens' Assembly on legal matters relating to gender and the Family. Fergus joined leading constitutional law experts Dr Laura Cahillane (UL), Professor Oran Doyle (TCD), Dr Tom Hickey (DCU), and Professor Conor O'Mahony (UCC) to discuss questions relating to Article 41.2 of the Constitution of Ireland (on 'women in the home') and the constitutional understanding of Family.
