Technology may help to address the crisis-level resource constraints affecting Irish healthcare.  But only if we can empower those who champion change; help clinicians and technologists to understand each other; and
make policy work in practice.  This paper charts the Irish Government’s design and roll-out of an eHealth ecosystem to do just that.
