Pseudonymisation and the Smart City: Dr Murphy Speaks at Programmable City Workshop

Dr Maria Helen Murphy was invited to present her research at the ‘Creating Smart Cities Workshop’, organised as part of the Programmable City Project, on 5 September 2016.

The title of Dr Murphy’s paper was 'Pseudonymisation and the Smart City: Considering the General Data Protection Regulation' which discussed some of the implications of the General Data Protection Regulation in the Smart City context. The GDPR will apply across the European Union from May 2018 and will be covered in detail by Dr Murphy in the LLM module in Information Privacy Law.  Dr Maria Murphy is a lecturer in the Department of Law.
