Contemporary classical composer to premiere Seisiún show at RHA Gallery

Challenging Climate Change & Hunger in Africa
Maynooth University has launced an innovative new Masters in ‘Transformative Community Development’. The new Masters programme, established as part of the TEN-Hunger Project (Transformative Engagement Network), is funded by Irish Aid and the HEA and brings together over thirty academics across disciplines to focus on climate change and food security in vulnerable communities in Zambia and Malawi.

Health benefits of music, rhythm and movement
Maynooth University is a major partner in a €3 million EU funded project exploring the links between music and its impact on our movement and health. The project, BeatHealth, is focusing on the benefits of rhythmic stimulation in order to improve mobility, with a dual emphasis on how we exercise and on Parkinson’s disease.
