DELSA - Digital Competence Upskilling project for Adult Learners

The DELSA - Digital Empowerment for Upskilling Adults Project partners met in Pescara, Italy, to plan the DELSA project. Among those present were Michael Kenny of the Department of Adult & Community Education, Tara Farrell from Longford Womens’ Link, Sinead Dooley and Mary Keys from Irish Rural Link. Each Partner presented on the current digitalisation status and a strategy to upskill adult learners in their country.

The surprising ways spirituality informs how we think about work

At best, spirituality is seen as something that is deeply personal to an individual and, even if it gives one a sense a purpose and comfort, should be kept to oneself. At worst, it is seen as pernicious influence that causes people to judge and discriminate. Outside the context of clinical contests, religion is often seen as something that should be kept separate from our working lives.
