Minister of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science James Lawless opened Maynooth University’s Digital Health Summer School which unveiled Mission 10X, a new vision for digital health in Ireland, outlined with demonstrations of 10 healthcare innovations that could revolutionise the Irish healthcare system.

Clericus Project: Student Testimonial
Bejamin Guilfoyle worked over the summer on the Clericus Project at the Arts and Humanities Institute, Maynooth University. His testimonial about his experiences working with a humanities project, coming from a STEM background are an example of the type of interdisciplinary relationships fostered within the institute.

Anthropology PhD student explores Urban Farming in Canada
During the Summer of 2019, PhD candidate and IRC recipient, Stuart Lang, spent a month in the city of Toronto, Canada. Funded by the ICUF (Ireland Canada University Foundation), Stuart flew to the city to speak with urban farmers/gardeners who work in and around the concrete jungle.
