History Show interview

During Storm Emma while we were all battling snow drifts, RTÉ's History show interviewed several of our MUSSI staff to discuss the Womens Sufferage Movement.
Professor Linda Connolly, director of  the Social Sciences Institute, researches gender, Irish society, family studies and migration, was joined by Claire McGing our Athena Swan project officer who researches women in politics, as well as Margaret Ward, and Liz Gillis.
Together they explored the history of the women's suffrage movement in Ireland.
