Dr Noelle Higgins has contributed to the Criminal Justice in Ireland Blog, run by the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies at the University of Limerick. Her piece is entitled ‘Defending Culture: The ICC and Cultural Defences’. This work is based on research for her forthcoming book on cultural defences, which will be published by Routledge in 2018. Dr Higgins teaches international criminal law on the postgraduate programmes offered by the Department of Law.
