Dr Maria Helen Murphy Speaks at IRC Event on European Researchers' Night

On 30 September 2016, as part of European Researchers’ Night, Dr Maria Helen Murphy delivered a short talk at ‘Probe: Research Uncovered at Trinity College Dublin’.
 
The Probe festival was a free evening of music, performance, films, and food that explored the fascinating research that is shaping our world. Dr Murphy spoke on the Main Stage at an event curated by the Irish Research Council. This event was designed to showcase young and early career researchers who are working on topics that fall under the seven societal challenges defined by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Framework for Research and Innovation. Dr Murphy’s talk addressed “Societal Challenge 7: Secure Societies” through the lens of internet security. #loveirishresearch
 
Maria is a Lecturer in Law at Maynooth University Department of Law, where she lectures on several courses including Information Privacy Law which is offered to LLM (Global Legal Studies) and LLM (International Business Law) students.
