Barbora Kubeckova - "I came to study Music at the National University of Ireland Maynooth as an Erasmus student in the academic year 2011/2012. The Music department impressed me by its variety of music subjects which students can choose to study and the broad areas or research. The artistic facilities and stimulating environment of the department appeared to be very beneficial as a foundation for my current area of research and further development. Therefore I have decided to apply for postgraduate study in Musicology at the National University of Ireland Maynooth. Currently I am finishing my MA degree and I have to admit that all my high expectations from the course have been fulfilled. The year allowed me to broaden my knowledge of current musicological activities across genres and significantly has developed any sharpened my future career ambitions." Brazilian Carnival
