This week's Music Research Seminar reflects the work of postgraduate students in Music, with the following presentations by PhD students in Musicology, Composition, and Performance Studies:

  • Shauna Caffrey – The Liminal as an analytical approach to baroque opera
  • Kayleigh Ferguson – This is Why We can't Have Nice Things: the Importance of Musicological Metadata and Digital Preservation
  • Pàdruig Morrison – Reflections and developments in notational style, arising from compositions in the Gluasad series
  • Eilís O’Sullivan – Deconstructing Sequenza 1 by Luciano Berio (1958)
  • Conor Power – Searching for American: John Williams and Hymnody
