Business is consistently amongst the most employable degrees in graduate career surveys. Business degrees offer you a very wide range of career opportunities, and the ability to move between industries as the employment market, and your career interests evolve.

Our Business faculty bring both practical insights and excellent research into the classroom. Our School of Business is ranked in the top 20% of Schools of Business in the world in terms of research. All our programmes connect students directly to industry and practice through our summer industry experiences, live industry modules, and skills projects.

The Learning Journey

All our programmes can be taken either full or part time. All our programmes (except Accounting), are taught in block teaching. You are in a class all day, two days every second week. In between you work on your individual and group project work. You will take four modules a semester full time (or two part time). Assessment is primarily continuous assessment.

All our programmes (except Accounting) provide students with a Career Planning and Development module, to help you to build a career plan and explore career options. All modules will provide you will a set of tools and concepts that you can use in your chosen career, and opportunities to apply these in practice. You will have a Live module, where you work with industry on practical problems. In the summer term you will have options to undertake a Business Research Project, working on a problem with an industry partner (or in Finance a mix of modules and applied industry problems), or a work placement (full time only), or in exceptional cases a dissertation.
