Prof Michael Doherty has published a new piece, in the European Labour Law Journal. The piece “The First Thing We Do, Let’s Kill All the Lawyers…Workplace Discipline and Legal Representation” discusses the decision of the Irish Supreme Court in McKelvey v Iarnród Éireann, in the context of the ongoing discussion of the ‘legalisation’ of workplace dispute resolution.
Prof Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law and lectures courses to all first year law students on Introduction to Law, as well as Employment Law to LLB students.
