Dr Louise Kennefick has published an article on RTE Brainstorm: "Should a state ever be held responsible for domestic crime?" In the article Dr Kennefick discusses the possibility of considering the state as a genuine moral wrongdoer, and takes the example of a severe environmental deprivation defence to explore some of the core challenges to such a development within criminal law theory and practice.
