Dr. Delia Ferri recently spoke at the Conference “EU Disability Law and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” organized by the Academy of European Law in Prague. She presented on ‘Disability in EU law’ and led a case study session on ‘The legal status of the UNCRPD and its role as interpretative tool’.
The aim of the conference was to provide Judges, prosecutors and other judicial staff with the legal tools to use the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) combined with relevant EU law in their daily practice.
Dr Delia Ferri is a Lecturer in Law at Maynooth University, where she lectures primarily in the fields of EU law and International and European Disability Law.
