Dr Amina Adanan was invited to give the keynote speech at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RSCI) International Citizenship Award ceremony on 3 May 2019 in Dublin. This RSCI Award encourages RSCI students to develop the attributes required to show healthcare leadership in the mixed cultural and social settings that will be the norm in their future careers. Dr Adanan spoke on the topic of the importance of international citizenship for the protection of human rights.
