The Department of International Development are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral researcher for interdisciplinary research on the nexus of conflict, peacebuilding, security and development practice.
The post-doctoral researcher will work on a range of issues related to conflict dynamics and political, social and security conditions in fragile environments. The researcher will be responsible for carrying out in-depth field and desktop research, disseminating research results through publications, briefings, seminars and media engagement, and providing policy advice to senior decision makers. The senior researcher will work closely with a network of EU agencies, regional organisations, the diplomatic community as well as research institutions.
