Thursday, April 25, 2019 - 16:00

Maynooth University Department of International Development

‘Stories of Change – From Learning to Action’

You are cordially invited to the launch of the new Maynooth University Department of International Development.

The event will take place in Room SE014 in the School of Education Building (North Campus at Maynooth University) from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday 30th April 2019.

The establishment of the Department follows from the transition of activities from Kimmage Development Studies Centre. Building on its long-standing tradition of excellence in facilitating learning in international development at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional development levels, the theme of the launch is ‘Stories of Change – From Learning to Action’.

The event will include a launch address by the President of Maynooth University, Professor Philip Nolan as well as brief inputs by alumni and international development sector representatives. It will offer an opportunity to explore the Department’s important role in advancing international development in higher education in Ireland.

We would love to see you here.

All are welcome, including alumni (of Kimmage DSC and Maynooth University), supporters and friends. Please RSVP to Seanie Comerford at the Department of International Development by Thursday 25th April – email:
