At this event, which is open to all Sinead’s family, colleagues, students, alumni and friends, we will be joined by speakers who will reflect on Sinead's contributions to research, in her teaching and through her activisms. These include Dr. Melanie Hoewer and Dr. Alexander Dukalskis, Sinéad’s PhD supervisors at UCD and Patrick Marren, the co-ordinator of the undergraduate programme that Sinéad taught on at the Department of International Development.
We will also be joined by Verity Swan from Rotary Raheny, who will present a Peace Pole to the Department of International Development in memory of Sinéad’s work and her commitment to peace, equality, and human rights.
All participants are also welcome to a reception afterwards.
