On Easter Monday, 28 March 2016, over 30 members of the Maynooth University History Society and students of History participated in the RTÉ public event ‘Reflecting the Rising’ as volunteer ambassadors. They carried out many roles ranging from helping visitors to the city find their way, operating visitation booths, and assisting with pottery demonstrations, all of which they accomplished with cheerfulness and a good attitude. Pictured are six of the volunteer ambassadors, recruited and co-ordinated by Ryan Heerey in his role as president of the MU History Society.
