Synopsis:
In February 1778 General George Washington launched the Continental Army’s largest, riskiest and most complex operation while encamped at Valley Forge, the Grand Forage of 1778. It, and the British Army’s response, were the largest actions undertaken by the armies, yet they remain virtually unknown and unexamined. This book-project talk will consider how the important often inheres in the overlooked.
