In the Dáil on 16 October, Mick Wallace questioned Tánaiste Burton on the government's housing policy and waving the book in the air, said 'I suggest that before you do a housing strategy, Spatial Justice and the Irish Crisis by Gerry Kearns and the writers from Maynooth [..]' and he concluded his remarks as follows: 'Kearns points out "Nama has not been charged with addressing issues of spatial justice or public interest". I am asking you Tánaiste, will you take on that mantle, because that's we need spatial justice, public interest put at the heart of a housing strategy.'
