Emeritus Professor John Sweeney of Maynooth University Department of Geography has been honoured by an invitation to The Vatican this week.
Professor Sweeney, along with former President Mary Robinson, has been invited to participate in a special 2 day meeting on "People and Planet" which is directly linked to the recent encyclical on climate change.
