with a keen interest in learning about and developing tech start-ups

The programme – delivered by six of Europe’s leading incubators (in Copenhagen, Cork, Munich, Athens, Poznan and Cartagena)– includes:
     
One week-long mentored startup-scrum training delivered across six EU cities in May & June 2016 where successful applicants will meet and work with like-minded aspiring tech entrepreneurs from across Europe in building startup plans.  Successful MU applicants will be allocated to any one of six scrums (there are 5 places reserved for Irish applicants in every scrum) – so they would be allocated a place in either Copenhagen, Cork, Munich, Poznan, Cartagena or Athens. 
    
 Access to an online virtual accelerator where newly founded startup scrum teams further develop their ideas with technical and business development mentoring
    
The opportunity for the best teams to pitch to an international panel of investors & successful tech entrepreneurs in Munich in October 2015
EU-XCEL can be combined with full-time work and studies & funds all flights and accommodation costs for successful applicants participating in the startup scrum and for short-listed Challenge Final teams in addition to all mentoring and training supports as part of the sponsorship process.
