Lifelong Learning in Palestine project shortlisted for international collaboration award

An exploration of the nature of lifelong learning in Palestine, involving eight global institutions, including the Maynooth University Department of Adult & Community Education, has been shortlisted for international collaboration of the year.
 
The project aims to foster provision of lifelong learning in formal and informal networks in the West Bank and Gaza, linking the work of universities with civil society.
 
Partner institutions include the University of Al Quds, Islamic University of Gaza, University of Birzeit, University of Bethlehem, Women Graduates of the Islamic University of Gaza, Centre for Applied Research in Education (CARE), St Mary's University College London, University of Malta and Maynooth University.
 
The project is funded under the European Union’s TEMPUS higher education modernisation programme.
