Ever wanted to study at university but never had the opportunity. As part of the Maynooth University Open Day Anne Roundtree from the Dept. of Adult and Community Education's Return to Learning Certificate Course will give people an overview of the programme. Return to Learning is a part-time programme that gives adults the skills that they will need to succeed and thrive in university. Essay writing, research and library skills, note taking, analytical skills, time management and CAO application process will all be covered in this course. Besides skills building the course is designed to build people's confidence in pursuit of a third level education. Students who obtain 60% in their final grade will automatically be offered a place on the Bachelor of Arts degree programme in this university.
