The National Learning Network (NLN), and the Maynooth University Access Programme (MAP) have been working in collaboration since 2012 to provide the Student Central programme for students who are supported by MAP and require additional academic and/or wellness support.

Student Central is an assistant psychologist (AP) lead programme. Students work with an AP to identify their needs within the university environment, and provide ongoing support to students throughout the academic year.
