Najaah Bodunrin (LLB) completes research assistant placement at Department of Law
Najaah Bodunrin, LLB student, completed a research assistant placement in the Department of Law over the summer. During this placement, Najaah assisted Dr Aisling McMahon with research related to patents on emerging medical technologies, including in the Covid-19 context. Alongside this, she provided research assistance on case law related to assisted dying. She also worked with Dr Amina Adanan researching new technologies as evidence of the commission of international crimes and helping with module preparation. Finally, she helped Dr Edana Richardson with the development of an online postgraduate module.

Mezzo-Soprano Sharon Carty appointed Maynooth Campus Associate Artist
Maynooth College and Maynooth University’s Music Department and Faculty of Arts, Celtic Studies and Philosophy, in partnership with Music Generation Kildare and Kildare County Council, are delighted to announce the appointment of Sharon Carty (mezzo soprano) as Maynooth Campus Associate Artist for the coming academic year, 2020–2021.
