The call for submission of applications for the John & Pat Hume Doctoral Awards launched on Friday, 2nd February 2024 (1pm) and closes on Tuesday, 5th March 2024 (9am).
Established in honour of John Hume, an alumnus of Maynooth University, and in recognition of his important contribution to Ireland, the John & Pat Hume Doctoral Awards are offered across all disciplines at Maynooth University.
The scholarship offering for 2024-2025 is €22,000 stipend, €2,000 research expenses plus EU fees for four years.

There is no fee or charge to submit a Hume application.
