The CAO 2024 Change of Mind facility is open from May 7th.
If you need to amend or add courses, you may use the CAO Change of Mind facility before the 1st July at 17:00.

All applicants (except EU occasional and non-EU students) for 1st year undergraduate study at Maynooth University (plus MH004 Advanced Entry to 2nd year) must apply through the Central Applications Office.

The Central Applications Office (CAO) processes applications to undergraduate level 8 (and level 6/7) courses in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) - including Maynooth University (MU). MU offers level 8 degree courses through the CAO. Decisions regarding admission to undergraduate courses are made by the HEIs who instruct CAO to make offers to successful candidates.

There are different CAO applicant groups - such as Leaving Cert students, mature applicants, QQI applicants - and separate assessment processes apply depending on your applicant group. For information about the assessment process that applies to your group visit our how to apply page.
