Congratulations to the team from the International Office, who took part in the recent Commuter Challenge 2018 organised by National Transport Authority for Smarter Travel workplaces and Smarter Travel Campus that Maynooth University are partners. Prizes provided by Campus Services Parking Management and Maynooth Green Campus.
The Commuter Challenge theme was ‘‘Reboot Your Commute". Participants were encouraged to choose healthier and smarter modes of transport for their commute to and from work, which was a change to the usual walking challenge. Teams were encouraged to change their usual drive to work to a walk, cycle or public transport commute during this challenge.
Maynooth University is a Smarter Travel Workplace, challenging staff and students to ‘Reboot Their Commute’ whether to get fitter, save time and money, or simply have more fun on the commute. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who participated.
