The School of Law and Criminology are delighted to announce the two following events being held on Thursday the 25th of April in TSI128.
 

On EU Militarism, Arms Trade, Deadly Border Politics and Complicity in Israel's Genocidal War on Gaza Policing Empires: Militarization, Race, and the Imperial Boomerang in Britain and the US > > On EU Militarism, Arms Trade, Deadly Border Politics Policing Empires NIAMH NÍ BHRIAIN JULIAN GO 4:15 PM - 5:45 PM, IN-PERSON AND ONLINE

 
Between 4:15 and 5:45 pm, the Research Centre in International Justice, with support from Academics for Palestine, will host Niamh Ni Bhriain from the Transnational Institute who will present 'On EU Militarism, Arms Trade, Deadly Border Politics and Complicity in Israel's Genocidal War on Gaza'. Between 6:30 and 8:30 pm, the Centre for Criminology will be hosting Professor Julian Go from the University of Chicago who will deliver a keynote address about his newest book, Policing Empires: Militarization, Race, and the Imperial Boomerang in Britain and the US.  More information and registration for Julian’s talk is available here
 
There will be a Hors d'Oeuvres Reception held between the two events. Tea and coffee will also be provided.
