Irish soprano Louise Martyn is joined by pianist Annalisa Monticelli, to perform a recital of songs by Samuel Barber and Michael Head, at Riverstown Hall on Thursday 11 November 2021, at 1:10pm.
Their programme includes Barber's 1953 song cycle Hermit Songs, setting translations of ten spiritual poems by anonymous Irish writers from the 8th to the 13th centuries. Please note that, due to ongoing public health restrictions, our lunchtime concerts remain only open to staff and students of the University.
