On Wednesday 6th March, the MU SexGen network partnered with the School of Law and Criminology for the workshop,
'LGBTQ+ rights in a Global Context: Spotlight on India', as part of 2024 Social Justice Week.
The workshop was headed by Dr Fergus Ryan, Head of the School of Law and Criminology, and took place in the Education Lecture Theatre (ELT) in Education House as part of the Gender, Sexuality and Law module offered by the School.
The event highlighted ongoing developments and trends in LGBTQ+ rights around the world, with a particular focus on three prominent recent Supreme Court decisions in India.
