Provisional Conference Timetable:
11.00 – 12.00: Uncovering Eurovision’s Voting Patterns – Input from Adrian Kavanagh, featuring members of the GY310B Geography of Eurovision class, followed by Panel Discussion
12.00 – 1.30: Meet and Greet/Lunch Break
1.30 – 2.00: Audience Participation – the Eurovision Prediction Game
2.00 – 3.30: Panel Discussion – Covering topics such as:
- Panel members’ personal experiences of Eurovision
- Panel member’s favourite moments from Eurovision History
- Ireland and the Eurovision Song Contest
- Juke Box Jury – the Panel reviews the 2018 Song Contest entries and offer their predictions
This conference will be the first ever event to be hosted by EGG (Maynooth) – Maynooth University’s Electoral Geography Group. (The EGG logo was designed by members of the Masters in Human Geography “Elections and Geography” class.)
