Extremum seeking control for wave energy systems by Diego Moens de Hase, University of Chile/Ecole Centrale de Nantes.
Diego Moens de Hase is an intern in the Centre for Ocean Energy Research in MU. He will present his work completed during his six months at COER. First, categorising model-free and model-based control techniques. Secondly, the implementation of a model-free control approach for wave energy converter (WEC) optimisation, based on extremum-seeking control for regular and irregular waves. He will present the scheme, algorithm, results and limitations of the method.
