The IQDA disseminates a number of collections through the Digital Repository of Ireland, which is the national trusted digital repository for Ireland's social and cultural data. IQDA collections on the DRI repository site can be found here. Some of the data on the DRI is openly accessible to all visitors to the site, however access the majority of IQDA data on the DRI is restricted to bona fide researchers and teachers, and to students that are currently registered at a third-level academic institution. Please refer to the rights and licensing statement for each collection or object for further details on this. You can request access to a collection or an object by first registering with the DRI and then selecting the Request Access button for that collection or object.
A small portion of data that is held at the IQDA is disseminated through direct application to the IQDA. To access a collection that is held by the IQDA, but not featured on the DRI repository site, please complete the IQDA Data Access Request and Agreement on Conditions of Use form and return it by post to the following address:
Note: If you are a student, please ask your supervisor to fill in the form on your behalf.
