Dr Jeneen Naji
Biography
My main research area digital is in the area of unique digital cultural artefacts and intersectional digital humanities. I am a Fulbright TechImpact Scholar and I teach on the B.A. Media Studies, the BSc in Multimedia and the M.A. in Critical and Creative Media and the Higher Diploma in Games Design run with the Department of Computer Science. I published a book called Digital Poetry in 2021 and am the Irish PI on a collaborative intersectional digital humanities IRC and AHRC funded project.
Research Interests
My research areas areas:
- intersectional feminist frameworks in digital humanities development.
- the critical analysis of existing and emerging digital culture artefacts.
-the impact of digital technologies on human creative expression.
-the affordances and constraints of the digital medium as they relate to the changing form of poetic expression from analogue to digital.
- electronic literature and digital literacy.
