Department of English's Dr Rita Sakr in discussion on BBC World Service

Dr Rita Sakr, MA co-ordinator in the Department of English, was the main guest on the 2-hour BBC World Service Weekend show on Sunday 15 September.
 
Dr Sakr spoke about Maynooth University, our MA in Literatures of Engagement, world cities, in addition to current political and cultural affairs: Mugabe’s legacy, the Israeli and Tunisian elections, Donald Trump’s foreign policy, Margaret Atwood, a UK Think Tank proposal to shorten the working week and other topics.
