We are excited to announce that we are launching a short, free, online course on the topic of ‘Global Migrant Literature & Culture”. The course is part of the EDI-funded project “Developing Open Access Courses in “Global Migrant Literature and Culture” and “Law and Society in Ireland”: A Pilot Project to Enhance Equal Participation and Inclusivity in the Virtual Learning Environment” led by Dr Rita Sakr (Department of English) and Drs Clíodhna Murphy and Edana Richardson (School of Law and Criminology).
The course will commence on the 4th of October 2021, with learners completing the course at their own pace over a 4-week period.
Please note that this course does not lead to a qualification and is not credit bearing. Learners will receive a certificate of participation on completion.
We will prioritise applications from people who might otherwise find it difficult to access university-style learning opportunities (e.g., international protection applicants, refugees, carers, older people who have not completed a university qualification).
Closing date for applications: Monday 20th September 2021.
