Announcing “In fair [Europe], where we lay our scene” Romeo and Juliet, Europe and Digital Cultures, a new publication by Maynooth University Department of English staff member Dr Stephen O'Neill in Romeo and Juliet in European Culture, edited by Juan F. Cerdá, Dirk Delabastita, and Keith Gregor (Amsterdam: 2018). The chapter uncovers a deep sense of Romeo and Juliet’s convergence with popular culture, news stories and contemporary discourse about integration within Europe.
