Short description: The life and times of St Brigid and her Church of Kildare from the 5th to the 9th centuries.
Outline programme:
Friday (approx. 10am to 5pm) and Saturday morning (approx 10am to 1pm).
The format is of a standard academic conference and will be open to the general public.
Friday evening at 8pm: Public lecture.
Saturday afternoon: Public engagement event (to be finalised).
Sunday: Guided walking tour of Kildare town and Cathedral.
